8-Week Intermediate Screenwriting
Class Begins Tuesday, April 9, 2019
$415 New Student | $390 Returning
This 8-week course will take students beyond the fundamentals of screenwriting to examine complex and archetypal characters, character arcs, building tension through your acts, and the four throughlines essential to every successful screenplay. In addition, we will delve deeper into three act structure and the techniques needed to strengthen your story.
Each week will focus on a lecture, followed by an individualized discussion of student work. Each student will leave the class with no less than a mini-treatment for their screenplay as well as a completed sample scene. This class is for students with a basic knowledge of screenwriting who'd like to prep themselves to write a professional screenplay.
